An Italian car company, introducing their first all-electric vehicle to the U.S.

I wrote and worked closely through the production for this integrated campaign, working alongside Spike Lee & Giancarlo Esposito, as well as Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Matt Libatique. This campaign plays off Spike and Giancarlo’s iconic roles in “Do The Right Thing,” further exploring the intersections between Italian and American culture. With Giancarlo as our half-Italian ambassador, and Spike standing in for skeptical Americans,
we remind our audience that being Italian isn’t about where you’re from, it’s about what you value. 🤌

ITALY IN AMERICA (HERO)

This is the first time Spike and Giancarlo have appeared together in a national advertising campaign,
but we knew these two old friends would be the perfect duo for driving FIAT’s “Italy in America.”

SOCIAL

Playing off their natural chemistry, we created a series of social vignettes following Spike’s
journey towards embracing his own “hidden Italiano” through features of the car.
